Senate Bill 1491 Assigned to House Committee

A Senate bill authorizing domestic surplus lines insurers in Texas has now been referred to the House Insurance Committee. The committee has already voted on an identical companion bill, House Bill 2492, which was passed unanimously, but has not yet been considered by the full House.
