The Help Desk is available to assist with filing and technical questions Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CST.
Data exchanged within the SLTX online system is encrypted to provide web security to both the user and SLTX. No other user can access an individual’s transactions, and input is restricted to only those in an agency with registered user profiles.
Brokers have the option to file transactions via web entry or through automation. Web entry allows agency staff to input individual policy information into a web-based form. Automation allows large data submissions to be electronically submitted through the Internet.
Users who file through the system are able to correct errors as they are detected, and have access to monthly reports and invoices electronically.
Registering as an SLTX Online User
The first step to filing electronically with SLTX is to complete the registration below. SLTX will contact users to complete the registration process.
Once registration is complete, your agency will obtain access to the Online Filing System Test Environment, which allows users to become familiar with the system. Users are required to undergo training in the test environment prior to receiving access to the live environment.
Entries made in the Test Environment allow the user to confirm that they are using the correct data and to gain experience with the Online Filing System. Any entries made in our test environment are for testing purposes only and will not be copied or transferred to the live production environment.
“NOTE: The purpose of this registration is to to make policy filings with the Surplus Lines Stamping Office of Texas, not for filing (or paying) state taxes to the Texas Comptroller’s office.
