Burns Named to New Technology Position

Ryan Specialty Group, LLC (RSG), an international specialty insurance organization, named Kathy Burns to its newly created Senior Vice President, Chief Digital Officer, position last week.

Burns has dedicated her entire career to risk management and the insurance industry, and has held positions at Aon, Marsh, and Crawford & Company. Prior to her new position at RSG, Burns was the Chief Executive Officer of Ventiv Technology, formerly known as Aon eSolutions, and is a member of its board of directors.

RSG was founded in 2010 by the founder and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aon Corporation, Patrick G. Ryan. The organization includes a wholesale brokerage operation, managing general underwriting companies, and a specialty insurance services provider.
