Agencies Recognized for No Late Filings in 2020

The 2020 Annual Late Filing Report was recently mailed to 432 surplus lines agents. Despite this, nearly 56% or 518 agents reporting transactions (i.e., filings) in 2020 did not receive one of these dreaded reports. While more than 717,000 policies were filed with the Stamping Office in 2020, only 1.35% or 9,668 of those policies were filed late. During the 2020 calendar year, 950 agents reported transactions to our office, but only the top 20 agents were responsible for reporting  62% of the premium and/or 56% of the transactions. Of those 20 agents by either premium or transactions, seven held no late filings in 2020, and we feel they deserve special recognition.
